Thus, it cannot be said that an authoritarian management style is characterized by a lack of motivation. There is motivation, but it is to increase the performance of employees with fear.

Since the authoritarian style of management comes in two forms (benevolent and exploitative), the management methods depend on which type of authoritarian style is followed in the organization. It is easy to assume that the benevolent form of authoritarian style implies a relaxation of management methods, as well as a significant reduction in the number of penalties.
Disadvantages of authoritarian governance
Of course, an authoritarian style is by no means the best management style for the smooth running of an organization. According to experts, this method can be used only in some cases when working with subordinates:
