PROPERS FOR THE DIVINE LITURGY:
Resurrection Tropar, Tone 5
Let us, the faithful, praise and worship the Word, co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit, born for our salvation of the Virgin. In His Good Will He was lifted up on the Cross in the flesh to suffer death and to raise the dead by His glorious Resurrection.
Tropar of the Triodion, Tone 2
We venerate Your undefiled icon, O Good One, asking You to forgive our transgressions, O Christ God. In Your good will it please You to ascend the Cross in the flesh to deliver from enslavement to the enemy those whom You had fashioned. Therefore, we cry out to You in thanksgiving; You have filled all things with joy, O Saviour; for You have come to save the world.
Tropar of the Church, Tone 1
In giving birth, you preserved your virginity. In falling asleep you did not forsake the world, Birth-Giver of God. You were translated to life, Mother of Life, and through your prayers you deliver our souls from death.
Glory… Kondak of the Triodion, Tone 8
The uncircumscribed Word of the Father became circumscribed, taking flesh from you, Birth-Giver of God. He has restored the tarnished image to its ancient glory, filling it with divine beauty. We confess this our salvation in word and deed.
Now and ever… Bohorodychnyi, Tone 5
Rejoice, Impassible Gateway of the Lord. Rejoice, Wall and Protection for those who take refuge in you. Rejoice, Haven untroubled by storms. Rejoice,, you who have not known wedlock, yet gave birth in the flesh to your Creator and God. Fail not in your prayers on behalf of those who venerate and praise your birthgiving.
Prokimen, Tone 4
Blessed are Your, Lord God of our Fathers, praise and glorified is Your Name to the ages.
Verse: For You are righteous in all that you have done.
Alleluia Verses, Tone 4
Moses and Aaron are amongst His Priests and Samuel amongst those who call upon His Name.
They called upon the Lord and he answered them.
Communion Hymn:
Praise the Lord from the Heavens, praise Him in the Highest. Alleluia (3X).
Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous; praise befits the upright. Alleluia (3X).
