ABSTRACT This article discusses the traditions of the classics in the Karakalpak poetry of the 1930s. Information is given on the basics of the artistic forms of Karakalpak poetry and on the stages of its development. Opinions on the literary influence in Karakalpak poetry are given and considered as examples as a result of the influence of folklore and the works of classical poets.
