How to configure a Honeywell Scanner to remove leading zero characters from a barcode?

In case a leading zero has to be deleted when outputting a barcode, a data formatting containing the E6 command can be used. By using the E6 command, the scanner is set to search ahead for the first non 'xx' character, where 'xx' is the hex value. In this particular case, the E6 command searches forward for the first character that is not zero, then sends all the data after. The data formatting looks like this:

0 for primary format.
099 for universal terminal ID.
99 is for universal symbology - the various 2 digit code ID is listed in each relevant product users guide.
9999 for universal length.
E6 search ahead.
30 hex value for 0.
F100 send all characters followed by a [NUL].

DFMBK30099999999E630F100.
