ANNOTATION FOR MASTER’S THESIS ON “COGNITIVE FEATURES OF SPECIAL VOCABULARY VISITS BY STATE LEADERS (ON THE BASIS OF POLITICAL NEWS)”
Relevance of the topic. In this study, the cognitive features of the special vocabulary of the visit of heads of state are analyzed on the basis of political messages in the PRC, in particular, the local "People's Newspaper" (《人民日报rénmínrìbào》) ， international magazines and newspapers, published brochures. We seldom come across scientific works and pamphlets written in Uzbek on Chinese political discourse, official-administrative texts describing political processes, and analyzed from a linguistic point of view using cognitive methods. This field is one of the least studied and required areas of study in Chinese linguistics. The urgency of the issue is that as the relations between our country and China develop day by day and the ties of friendship strengthen, the issue of studying Chinese political discourse will become more and more important.
Goals and objectives of the study. The purpose of our study is to study the specific vocabulary of Chinese leaders, which plays an important role in the political life of the country, along with a special vocabulary of the visit of heads of state, to analyze it on the basis of modern methods.
Research tasks:
1. To study the interrelationships of cognitive linguistics and political linguistics, including the formation of cognitive linguistics as a science, the problem of its development, and the study and characteristics of cognitive linguistics in China.
2. Cognitive analysis of lexical units encountered in the speech of heads of state, analysis of lexical units and chengyu (phraseology) encountered in their speech.
3. The study of the speech of state leaders in Chinese, the analysis of the characteristics of their speeches, the study of the issues of language reflection of lexemes encountered in the speech of Chinese leaders.
Scientific novelty. The novelty of the research is that the cognitive features of the special vocabulary related to the visits of Chinese leaders are studied. In particular, the methods of cognitive linguistic analysis, political speeches of heads of state during their visits, lexemes used in them, special phraseology are analyzed. In the concluding sections, the author's views are stated.
