The Complex Object is a predicative construction in which a participle stands in predicative relation to a noun or a pronoun, that makes the object of the main clause.
The Complex Object Construction with Participle II has a specific nuance in its meaning, relating to some cultural differences and mental representations. The construction is used to say that we arrange that someone else should do something for us.
Ex.: I have my coat cleaned every month. We had the roof repaired yesterday. They are having the house painted at the moment.
Sometimes the model is used to say that something (often something not nicе) happened to someone. Ex.: He had all his money stolen. George had his nose broken in a fight.
