Thank you to my late mom, who set a wonderful example as an intelligent, hard-working,
gentle, wise, and confident woman. I’m sure she would be happy about this book, as she
read my first book aloud, line by line, twenty-four years ago.

had an important enough message until we started traveling worldwide and sharing my
