are modern storage rooms, logistics and 1,300 refrigeration chambers and warehouses
with a capacity of more than 800,000 tons for the delivery of products to customers.
This year it is planned to build 197 cooling rooms and chambers. Project work has
begun on the construction of modern logistics centers in six regions of the country.
Entering foreign markets with competitive products is the most pressing issue. In
solving this problem, it would be expedient to effectively use the principle of
consumer-oriented marketing. The reforms being carried out in our country are aimed
at saturating the domestic consumer market and entering foreign markets with ready-
made competitive products, increasing their export potential.
Vegetables grown in Uzbekistan are exported to 82 countries around the world,
and in 2017, the share of 6 countries importing vegetables from Uzbekistan accounted
for 95% of the products. From the table data, it can be seen that vegetable exports in
2017 decreased compared to 2016. When analyzed by product composition, 72% of
total exports accounted for tomatoes, tomato products and dried legumes. During the
years of independence, the markets of 84 countries have been developed for fruits
grown and processed in Uzbekistan. According to the results of 2017, fruit products in
Uzbekistan were exported to a total of 53 countries. Fruit exports increased from $
394 million in 2016 to about $ 448.9 million in 2017. It is known that manufacturing
and processing enterprises should focus on improving product quality, which, in turn,
will have a positive impact on increasing demand and competitiveness of products,
