Abstract. This article highlights the essence of financial security and the threats 
that affect it.

Today, Uzbekistan, which is confidently on the path of independent 
development, is confidently moving towards a market economy. One of the key issues 
facing him in this process is to increase the economic potential of industrial 
enterprises. Therefore, in the Action Strategy for the five priority areas of 
development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, further modernization of 
industry through a qualitatively new stage aimed at accelerated development of high-
tech processing industries, especially high-value-added finished products based on 
deep processing of local raw materials and diversification [1] has been identified as an 
important task. In general, in recent years, our national economy has become 
economically strong, emerged from the crisis and achieved sustainable growth in 
many areas. As a result of radical reforms in all spheres of development of society, 
including economic, political, social and cultural-educational spheres, many positive 
changes have taken place in our country. 
One of the most important conditions for ensuring the sustainable growth of the 
enterprise and the formation of positive results of its financial activities is the 
existence of an effective financial security system that will protect the enterprise from 
external and internal threats. In the process of analyzing the scientific literature, it was 
determined that in economic theory the financial security of enterprises is considered, 
as a rule, in two aspects, either as one of the components of economic security, or as 
an independent management object. At the level of business entities, a comprehensive 
study of the essence of the concept of “financial security” as an independent
