THE NECESSITY AND OPTIMALITY OF AGRIBUSINESS IN WORLD 
AGRICULTURE

Before getting into the article, we should know what agribusiness is, what it 
does, how it changed during the years, and how it relatives to agroindustry, 
agriculture, etc. First of all, agribusiness is an entrepreneurial activity in the 
agricultural sector. Its goal is to provide the consumer market with sufficient 
quality and fresh agricultural products, and the agro-industry with raw materials. 
The two Harvard Business School professors, John Davis and Ray Goldenberg said 
“Agribusiness is the total of all operations involved in the manufacture and 
distribution of farm supplies; production operations on the farm; and the storage, 
processing, and distribution of farm commodities and items made from them ". 
One of the main things in agribusiness is irrigation. Irrigation is the artificial 
process of applying controlled amounts of water to land to assist in the production 
of crops. Irrigation helps to grow crops, maintain landscapes, and revegetate 
disturbed soils in dry areas and during periods of less than average rainfall. 
Irrigation also has other uses in crop production, including frost protection, 
suppressing weed growth in grain fields, and preventing soil consolidation. In 
contrast, agriculture that relies only on direct rainfall is referred to as rain-fed. 
Irrigation systems are also used for cooling livestock, dust suppression, disposal of 
sewage, and mining. Irrigation is often studied together with drainage, which is the 
removal of surface and sub-surface water from a given location. It is known to 
everyone that we are living in the century of Intellectual Technologies.
That means IT should be everywhere, in each subject, in each direction. We 
can not imagine that living without gadgets which supply our lifestyle more 
convenient. Moreover, they somehow help to get “speed” in the agricultural sector. 
For example, in the XIX century, there were not any tractors and cultivators, which 
help to cultivate farming faster than naked hands. However, we have some big 
problems in crowded cities. Despite the advances made in agriculture, many people 
around the world still go hungry. Why? The first cause of this is we still do not use 
the ground productively. Because, the farmers do not know the technology of 
farming, how many times cultivate during the year.
Out of this, the degrees of the ground and products are highly decreasing. For 
example, atom and hydro bombs are used uncountable times until nowadays. It 
also harms effected for the earth. The second important reason is that the 
community of the world is focusing only on large enterprises.
As a result, the population is also abandoning small businesses. Because small 
business does not play an important role in front of large enterprises and there is no 
investment in it. By this, we can not say that all agricultural products supplied by 
large companies are of high quality. Because they are first packaged for delivery, 
processed into it, and the process takes a long time. In this verse, the products may
