Based on the best-selling novel by Philippa Gregory, the film stars Academy Award® nominee Natalie Portman (Garden State, Closer, Star Wars Episodes 1, 2 & 3) and Golden Globe® nominee Scarlett Johansson (Girl With a Pearl Earring, Match Point, Lost in Translation) as the infamous Boleyn sisters used as pawns to advance the Boleyns’ position and wealth by catching (and keeping) the eye of the King of England (Eric Bana – Munich, Troy, Black Hawk Down). But the decisions driven by greed begin to pit the sisters against one another, leading to a bitter rivalry and devastating end.
