Objectives: The main objectives of the lesson are: listen to the stories, read a story about Bopsy, write a paragraph using such verbs as “ask, demand, determine, insist, move, order, pray, prefer, recommend, regret, request, require, suggest, and wish”, recall the subjunctive mood, learn new words and work with them in the matching task. Students will be involved in the lesson by discussing many touchy themes as well as lonely people, ill children, etc.

Teacher asks students to look at the picture on the page 1-white clouds which are seen from the top of the mountain. Teacher asks students to think what a person can feel staying on the top of the mountain and looking at the clouds while being above the clouds. Teacher asks students to share the ideas.

Predicting about the stories.

Teacher asks student to look at the pictures (page 2) and then at the titles (page 3), match the pictures with the titles of the stories and predict about the content of the stories.

|
Teacher says that students will meet these new words in the stories and asks students to match words with their definitions. As soon as students finish the matching task, teacher asks students to read words and definitions aloud in order to check pronunciation and the correct definitions of the words.
