Keep video intro titles short (or get rid of them altogether)

How many videos do you stop watching because of long and boring
introductions featuring pointless graphics and awful music? Jump straight into
the action to keep viewers hooked or, if necessary, at least keep your intro
graphics short and snappy, explaining who you are and what the video is all
about.
Plan your greeting and sign off
Start every video with a greeting, your name, and business name. Finish with
your business name and tag line. I do this for all my videos as they act as two
little plugs for this book, and also encourage users to 'Click the subscribe button'
to tempt more subscribers and guarantee future views. My YouTube intro and
sign-offs are as follows:

Feature call to actions within your videos
Depending on where during the video would be most effective, include calls to
action (CTAs) to direct your viewers - do you want them to visit your website,
call you for a quote, watch another video, reply to a question in the comments,
subscribe for more great content, click an annotation or the link in the
description? Tell them! CTAs can be implemented in several ways, including
direct from the video host, as clickable annotations or in onscreen graphics. For
example, at the end of each of my videos, I have an end card that features a
teaser of my previous video (clickable via a spotlight annotation), and calls to
action that encourage viewers to "like" the video they have just watched, and
encouraging them to subscribe to my channel.
