W e e k e n d s are a bit different.

M y   parents  u su ally  g iv e   me  som e  pocket  m oney  each  w eek .  I  try  to  spend  them 

reasonably.  D u rin g   the w e e k   I  pay  fo r lunch  at  the school  canteen.  Som etim es  I  need  to 

bu y  som e  stationery.

pizza  place.  H o w e v e r,  m y  favourite  pastim e  at  w eeken ds  is  b o w lin g .  I  like  this  gam e.  1 

think  it  is  not  o n ly   entertaining  but  also  social.  B o w lin g   unites  likem inded  people  and 

g iv e s  a  chance  to  com m unicate  with  g o o d   friends,  instead  o f   sitting  in  front  o f   the

spend  time  with  my  friend.  W e   g o   for  a  walk,  talk  about  music  and  g o   to  the  cinema 

together.  1 have another friend....  (his/her name). She  is a nice girl.  Her favourite subject

M y house  is very beautiful and  big  which has a livin g room,  a sitting  room,  a kitchen, 

three bedrooms  and a dining  room.  I  have my ow n bedroom.  There  is a bed. a table, a 

chair,  a sh elf and  bookshelf in  my bedroom.  There  is a garden  in  front o f  our house.  I 

en joy  spending  time  there  planting  and  watering  flowers.  1  like  my  house.

M y  favorite  subject  in schl  is Mathematics.  It  is m y favorite because  I  never have 

d ifficu lty  with  it  and always  get  good  marks  in  tests.

I suppose  I am lucky to be bom   with a clear-thinking brain.  So ever since young, 

manipulating  numbers  and  figures cam e easy to  me.

Th e wonderful  thing about Mathematics  is that, besides some formulae,  there  is nothing 

else  to remember.  E very step in solving a problem  is done  logically.  Other subjects  like 

History and Geography  require a lot o f  memory  work.  Rem embering dates and other 

facts  is hard  work compared with  the ease and sim plicity o f  mathematical  reasoning

I  have many hobbies.  I  like playing  basketball,  watching  T V .  playing  computer 

games.  But  my favourite  hobby is collecting  postal stamps.  When  I buy m y stamps,  I 

usually ride a  bike to d o it  or run to the  Post  O ffic e  o r special  shops and buy  my 

stamps  there.  When  I  get  my  stamps.  I  w ill  trade  with  some o f  my  friends and  my 

brother.  W e  also put  them  into stamp cases.  1  started  this hobby in  the  summer o f  

2(H) 1.

M y  best  friend got me interested  in  stamps collecting.  W henever I  went o ver to his 

house,  he had his cards out  and  w e  looked  at them.  He has a huge  and  very 

interesting collection o f  stamps.  I  usually spend around  20-30 grivnas to buy  some 

stamps e very month.  I  like doing  this hobby,  because  I  like trying to get  the stamps 

that  are  worth  a  lot  o f  money.

I  also like stamps that have pictures o f  animals  and birds.  I  like flora and  fauna 

stamps.  It  shows  how  diverse  the  Earth  life  is.
