For controlled practice of the language focus,
students use the prompts to ask and answer
questions about what they spend on various
aspects of IT. If there is a possibility in your
teaching context that this might be a sensitive
issue or if students are too young to be spending
their own money on such gadgets, students can
instead make up their own figures. If you choose
this option, give them time to prepare their
figures before the pairwork begins.
