дается.решение.таких.проблем.

: This article discusses the importance of assessment and testing in the development 
of.education,.discusses.the.benefits.and.drawbacks.of.assessment.and.testing,.and.gives.solution.
for.such.issues.

In the 1970s students in an intensive EFL program were taught in an unstructured conversation 
course..They.complained.that.although.they’d.lots.of.your.time.to.practice.communicating,.they.
felt.as.if.they.hadn’t.learned.anything..shortly.afterwards.a.testing.system.was.introduced.and.
helped. to. provide. them. a. way. of. satisfaction. that. they. were. accomplishing. things.. Tests. will.
be.extremely.motivating.and.provides.students.a.way.of.progress..They.will.highlight.areas.for.
college.students.to.figure.on.and.tell.them.what.has.and.hasn’t.been.effective.in.their.learning..
Assessment may be seen as a distinct concept than testing because it refers to a full process of 
gathering data about language progress by using different varieties of techniques and methods 
so. as. to. search. out. what’s. learned,. what. must. be. fulfilled,. and. the. way. to. enhance. learning.
and.teaching.effectiveness..clapham.(2000).has.mentioned.that.assessment.has.two.underlying.
meanings: A general term for all methods of testing and assessment, and a particular term wont to 
differentiate.alternative.assessment.from.testing..Moreover,.clapham.(2000).has.illustrated.that.
some researchers use the term of testing to talk over with the event and administration of tests 
whereas others indicate the term of assessment to mean using more informal methods instead of 
tests.like.school.projects,.interviews,.portfolios.and.etc..Tests.may.have.a.positive.effect.therein.
they.encourage.students.to.review.material.covered.on.the.course.Tests.can.encourage.students.
to.consolidate.and.extend.their.knowledge..Tests.are.a.learning.opportunity.after.they.need.been.
taken..The.feedback.after.a.test.are.often.invaluable.in.helping.a.student.to.know.something.she.
couldn’t.do.during.the.test..Thus.the.test.may.be.a.review.in.itself..There.are.many.arguments.
against.using.tests.as.a.kind.of.assessment..Because.some.students.become.so.nervous.that.they.
cannot perform and do not provides a true account of their knowledge or ability, other students 
can move with last-minute cramming despite not having worked throughout the course or when 
the.test.has.finished,.students.can.just.forget.all.that.that.they.had.learned.and.a.few.students.
become.focused.on.passing.tests.instead.of.learning.to.enhance.their.language.skills..using.only.
tests. as. a. basis. for. assessment. has. obvious. drawbacks.. Despite. all. of. those. strong. arguments.
for.testing,.it’s.important.in.contact.in.mind.the.negative.aspects.we.checked.out.first.and.to.do.
and.minimize.the.consequences.
Educators should try and make the test a less intimidating experience by explaining to the 
scholars. the. aim. for. the. test. and. stress. the. positive. effects. it’ll. have.. Many. may. have. very.
negative. feelings. left. over. from. previous. bad. experiences.. Give. the. scholars. lots. of. notice.
and teach some revision classes beforehand and tell the scholars that you just will take into 
consideration.their.work.on.the.course.additionally.because.the.test.result..Educators.should.be.
sensitive.once.they.distribute.the.results..it.means.they.may.undergo.the.answers.fairly.quickly,.
