ACCURACY
Accuracy requires attention. Attention needs time. Research suggests that learners are more accurate the more time they have available. They can use this time to plan, monitor and fine-tune their output. Therefore rushing students through accuracy practice activities maybe counterproductive. Classroom activities traditionally associated with accuracy, such as drilling, may not in fact help accuracy that much especially where learners are being drilled in newly presented material.
