coriander – a plant whose leaves and seeds are used to give flavour to food
noodles – a type of pasta in the form of long thin pieces that cook quickly

lime leaves – a lime-tree leaves that smell pleasant and often used in cooking

sightseeing – the activity of travelling around a city or town to see the interesting things in it
souvenir– something that you buy during a holiday or at a special event to remind you later of being there
tour – a journey in which you visit several places for pleasure
to book – to make a reservation in advance, e.g. to book a ticket / a room in the hotel
cycling trip – to make a trip on a bicycle

communication – the process of speaking or writing to someone to exchange information or ideas
carrier pigeon – a pigeon that has been trained to carry messages
typewriter – a machine with keys that you use for typing letters and symbols directly onto a sheet of paper around a roller
Information Age – the modern age, in which information is a valuable commodity which is widely accessible through computer technology
broadcasting – to send out messages or programmes to be received by radios or televisions
schedule – a plan of activities or events and when they will happen
circuit – a piece of electronic equipment with electrical connections or computer chips in it
transmission – the process of sending out electronic signals such as radio or television signals or a signal sent out in this way
generation – a group of products that were made at about the same time, intended as an improvement on those that came before them
network – a set of computers that are connected to each other so that each computer can send and receive information to and from the other computers
radio wave – an electromagnetic wave that radio signals can be sent on
protocol – a set of rules that controls the ways in which data is sent between computers
access – the right to look at private information
dimension – length, height, or width in the size of something
