A rainy day is dull and gloomy. Usually, it rains around the day. A couple of 
days ago, I also experienced such a day but made it interesting with my ready 
plan and ideas. Thank you for the smart question. Now, I will describe the 
events what and how I did on that day.
It was the second week of March. In this Asian subcontinent, it does not rain in 
this time, rather the temperature starts to increase. But due to some sudden 
changes in the weather pattern, the climatic condition behaves strangely. So, 
the rainfall was completely unexpected to everyone. A similar feeling was with 
me. But I enjoyed the day till the last moment. It was a kind of refreshment to

me and some of my friends. In fact, I invited them to be my guest on this day 
so that each of us could enjoy the day form our heart.
I am a student of Allahabad university in India. To be frank, I love to take part 
in extracurricular activities than my studies. And most of the times, I am found 
outside of the class. I make close interaction with my books right before the 
exams and I have to suffer a lot for bunking the classes. I have some other 
intimate friends and they are the same like me. When I sensed that it was 
raining outside, I made a very special plan for the day. I made phone calls to 
the friends and invited them to be at my home. On the other side, I asked my 
mother to prepare some traditional meals for the day as my friends were 
coming. I showed an excuse of group study for the approaching exam. We 
studied indeed but the key purpose was to enjoy a couple of recently released 
Hindi movies. We passed the day with great fun.
It rained the entire day. Initially, there was a storm in the morning with a heavy 
shower. Gradually, the rain started to slow down. And it drizzled in the 
remaining part of the day. So, it was not possible for me to go out for attending 
my university class. Further, the storm had damaged the local roads while the 
drizzling made them muddy and slippery. People with emergencies only went 
to their respective places. Vehicle movement on the streets was reduced. My 
friends came with their bicycles and told me that it was troublesome for them 
to meet today. But they were glad when I told about my plan for the day. They 
stayed till the rain continued.
Though I do not like to get stranded at home, this time the experience was a 
bit different. I enjoyed the foods and movies. The company of my intimate 
friends gave me immense pleasure. Furthermore, we made some presentation 
ideas for the next class which we were assigned in the past month. After an 
enriched discussion, we started to watch a movie. By the time, it was lunch 
time and we had a delicious meal at noon. Then we enjoyed another movie for 
the rest of the evening and finally, the rain stopped. My friends left my place. 
But the memories of the day are still alive with me. I really felt a sense of 
satisfaction in my heart on that rainy day.
