18.8% of respondents are interested in religious issues of Cossacks; martial arts – only 4.5% (Pic. 4). It is 
interesting to note that, unlike students of vocational schools, only senior students independently showed 
interest in religion in the life of Cossacks, and the least interest (4.5%) in martial arts, while at the same time 
students of vocational schools showed the greatest interest in martial arts (32.6%).
Kiev Academy of Cossacks is sincerely grateful to all the respondents, members and friends of the 
Kiev Cossacks Academy who have kindly agreed to participate in the survey and to attract a wide range of 
respondents to conduct our research. 
Conclusions.
The answers to question # 3 gave us a unique array of additional questions about the 
Cossacks' life, lifestyle and cultural heritage. This information is rather difficult to obtain, but our specialists 
already have a considerable amount of expertise in the "treasure trove of Cossack knowledge", which is 
presented and will be presented to the general public of our compatriots. 
The conducted research allows us to speak about the high general interest in Cossack topics in the 
majority of respondents, both among students of SPTU and senior students, which can be explained by the 
ethno-cultural thirst for knowledge of Cossack subjects and insufficient acquisition of this knowledge in 
educational institutions. Therefore, we can speak about the correctness of the chosen direction in the 
dissemination of popular science knowledge on Cossack topics. The rich historical heritage of the Cossacks, 
their incorporation into the souls and hearts of compatriots can help consolidate civil society in Ukraine and 
make a significant contribution to the spiritual development of our contemporary.
