Watch the video on Grammar in context and reflect on it answering the following questions:

1. How did she start her lesson ? How many objectives did she put for this activity? What are they? Why did she choose this activity?

2. What skills does she usually integrate in her lessons? What was her language point in that very lesson? What was the first stage of the lesson? What were her objectives in that stage? What interaction pattern did she use?

3. What was the next stage? Name of the stage? Why was it named in this way? What were her objectives in that stage? What grammar rules did students practice? What interaction pattern did she use?

4. What are the level of the learners? Why do you think so?

5. What tenses did she compare and how?

6. Was the lesson form-focused or meaning focused? Support with examples from the lesson.

7. What is her overall aim for the lesson? What approach did she use? What context did she utilize to teach grammar? What is her attitude towards grammar terms?

Answers

1. She started the grammar lesson with her life. Also she divided her life eight years and used some pictures when she was teaching grammar. In order to teach past tense and present tense aslo she teached clearly past tense and present tense to her students by dividing years and contrasting past tense and present perfect tense.

2. She integrated her lesson by giving some questions to students which are related to the theme. Her language point was very clear and intelligible. Her first stage was to speak with students about her life and her daily life when she was a kid. Her abjectives was pictures and scripts on the blackboard. She used some ways to interact with students.

3. Her childhood, she described her childhood by showing pictures to her students. It is called childhood. For understanding the topic to her students and she used some pictures and years to teach past tense and present perfect tense. She teached grammar to students by giving pictures to them and they answered by showing the picture and put the picture on the blackboard which belongs to the years. So her interaction was to give some questions and taking answers from them in English.

4. In my view, their level was A2 because they was learning some difficulties also they was suffering with speaking in English.

5. She compeared Past tense and Present perfect tense by dividing to years also she used some visual materials in her lesson.



6. Her lesson was focused on teaching Past tense and Present perfect tense by her real life from her childhood to she had a baby. For instance, she showed one picture it is about her life and the students makes some sentence to past tense and present perfect tense.

7. She's aim is to help learning grammar lesson to the students very easily and very clearly. Also she used an approach of real life and to be interesting her lesson she had used pictures and attending of students during the whole lesson. She utilized some ways to teach grammar. For example, she divided years from 1972 to 2009 and she teached grammar with using pictures and students made some sentence for years. Her attitude is very good and useful also she is very active during the lesson and her students try to be active.
