Introduction

This paper deals with the topic "ITIL Library".

The object of research is this library.

The purpose of the work is to gain new knowledge about the library, which can then be applied on practice.

ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library - information technology infrastructure library) today is one of the main resources for companies and divisions dealing with provision of services in the field of information technology. She describes the best of practical ways of organizing the work of departments or companies in the field of IT.

The rationale for the need for the methodology is very simple.

As long as a service exists, as long as it must improve, otherwise it ceases to exist. The ITIL methodology helps to “see all” the disadvantages of the service at a glance: information during transmission, - where are the "holes" (gaps) in communication, - as "what is already understandable ”becomes a big problem for different groups of people: from IT team to business management. This is often the cause of many IT errors. All the problems of any IT services are visible here at a glance.
