Carmelized Baked Chicken

Ingredients

• 
  2 ¹⁄₂ lbs chicken legs
  
• 
  1 ²⁄₃ tablespoons olive oil (to help it stop sticking to the pan)
  
• 
  ¹⁄₂ cup soy sauce
  
• 
  1 ²⁄₃ tablespoons ketchup
  
• 
  ³⁄₄ cup honey
  
• 
  2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
  
• 
  salt and pepper
  

Directions

1. 
   Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
   
2. 
   Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix together the oil, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, salt and pepper.
   
3. 
   Pour over the chicken.
   
4. 
   Bake in preheated oven for one hour, or until sauce is caramelized.
   
5. 
   Could also use wings or pork ribs.
   

Can you believe August is here again? As you are getting your kids ready to go back to school remember August is National Immunization Month. Be sure your kids are up to date on all their shots. August is also National Family Fun Month, so make sure you have some fun in the last days of summer.

We here at South Central Waiver Office are ready to kick off the school year with some new changes in our department. We will be changing up our payroll process and will be using new forms to document time and progress notes on. These changes are to come in effect in October so we will be having a Mandatory staff meeting on September 28^th at 6:00 pm or September 29^th at 10:00 am. All staff must come to one or the other.

We would like to thank everyone who helped in our annual fundraising yard sale. We couldn’t do it without all the donations and volunteers. We raised over $600 for our consumer event funds.
