1.     PT PLN through Republic of Indonesia has received financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of the Indonesia Second Power Transmission Development Project (IPTD-2). It intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan toward payments for Package 1 under the Group 2contracts for Design, Supply and Installation of 150 kV Substations and Extension of 150 kV Transformer Bays and Line Bays in Java.

2.      PT PLN now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of the equipment, including transportation, testing, commissioning and civil work for:

     Lot 1:        Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)

·         Lot 2:        Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS)

The completion schedule is 540 days. Domestic Preference shall be applicable as per the provisions of bidding documents.

3.     Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services underIBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers-January 2011 ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Officer and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 08.00 to 16.00 at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon paymentof a nonrefundable fee of IDR 5,000,000 (FiveMillion Indonesian Rupiah) or in equivalent US Dollar 380 (Three hundredand eighty Dollar). The method of payment will be Cashor Banker's cheque in favor of PT PLN

6.   Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00 WIST on 15 November 2016. at 10.15 WIST on 15 November2016.

7.   All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of US $ 538.000 for Lot 1 and US $174.000 for Lot2.
