On dimensions to establish International scientific research centre of Imam Termizi

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 14, 2017 "On dimensions to establish International scientific research centre of Imam Termizi ", International scientific research centre of Imam Termizi was established in Termez, the administrative centre of Surkhandarya region.
A major cultural and educational centre at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road. Scholars and thinkers from the Surkhandarya oasis, in particular, have made a great contribution to the development of Islam. An in-depth scientific study of the unique heritage of Abu Isa al-Tirmizi and Termez scholars. Preservation and development of our national and religious values. On this basis, to educate the young generation in the spirit of good ideas. It was established to strengthen the affection and loyalty to the motherland in their spirits. International scientific research centre of Imam Termizi is currently performing effectively.
This centre has international status It consists of the departments of "Hadith studies", "Source Studies", "International Relations" and the Information Resource Center.
The departments of hadith and source studies selectively study the history of the science of hadith and source studies, the stages of development, the interrelationships of the Islamic sciences, and the life and work of scholars.
The Center has completed and republished the Uzbek translation of Abu Isa Muhammad Termezi's Sunani Tirmizi. as well as the "Great Tirmizi", "The everlasting castles of Termez or the history of Termez", "Imam Abu Isa Muhammad Termezi", "Golden guidance from Termez Scholars ", "Muhaddith and faqih scholar", "Two great scholars", "Kitab ul-ilal", "Treatises of Muhammad Hakim Termizi", "Scholars of the Great Land", "Pages of the life and work of Imam Abu Isa al-Tirmidhi", “Moturudiya Doctrine and the Scientific Legacy of Abu Mu'in Nasafi”, “Interpretation of Surat al-Fatihah and Surat al-Baqara by Hakim Termezi”, “Review of Hakim Termizi's Manuscript of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surat al-Baqara”, “Academic Translation and Interpretation of Sunani Termezi Based on the Moturudi Doctrine and the Hanafi School”, Abu Ja'far al-Tirmidhi's Abu Nu'aym Muslim Ibn Khalid al-Zanjiy al-Khurasani “History of Islam”, “Quranic Studies”, and Hadith Studies 3 volumes of "Sunani Termizi's Commentary", about 50 books, pamphlets and manuals have been published.

Researchers of International scientific research centre of Imam Termizi have translated 7 books and 2 manuals on the heritage of Termez and other scholars during the past 2021. Proceedings of 1 International Scientific Online Conference, A book on Turkish-Uzbek relations based on 1 archival document. And a total of 23 books and pamphlets, including 10 popular pamphlets, have been published.

In addition, 23 Tirmiz scholar and other scholars' legacies, textbooks, research and popular science books have been prepared for publication.
On the instructions of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to prepare popular pamphlets on the exemplary life and heritage of Imam Termizi and Termizi scholars, the Center's researchers presented "Imam Termizi", "Hakim Termizi", "Khoja Alovuddin Attor", "Abu Bakr Varroq Termizi" ,"Burhaniddin Termizi", "Sufi Allah", "Khoja Samandar", "Rozuyiddin Chaghani", "Abu Ja'far Termizi", "Adib Sabir Termizi" popular pamphlets were published.
82 manuscripts and lithographs of the heritage of our ancestors, preserved from the population of the Surkhandarya region, were transferred to the centre's library fund.
In collaboration with the Abu Rayhan Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the "Catalog of Manuscripts of Termez Scholars' Works in the World Funds" has been published, which contains descriptions of more than 1,400 manuscripts preserved in more than forty countries.
The center cooperates with universities and research centers in India, Turkey, the United States, Canada, Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Work is currently underway to establish relations with higher Islamic education institutions and research centres in the United States, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Since its establishment, the Center has been actively organizing scientific-practical conferences, scientific seminars and exhibitions at the national and international levels.
