We all have some things we do every day or almost every day in a particular order. They are called “daily routine”. Let me tell you about my daily routine.

My typical day is quite busy, it begins at 6 o’clock in the morning when I wake up. When my alarm goes off, I turn it off, get up and make my bed. Then I take a shower, brush my teeth and do my morning workout. I do not exercise much in the morning, just a few simple exercises such as push-ups.

Usually, my mom makes breakfast for all of us, which is my parents and I. My older brother is a student and he lives in a dormitory. I have breakfast with my family. My father usually walks our dog, but when I have enough time, I like walking the dog myself.

After breakfast I go to school. I do not walk there because it is too far. I take a bus and get off by the school. It takes the bus about 15 minutes to get there, so I usually play games on my phone or watch YouTube videos. My classes start at 8 a.m. After the third lesson we have a break. My classmates and I go to the cafeteria where we have a cup of tea with a sandwich and chat.

After school, I take a bus home. Sometimes my friend’s father picks him up, and they give me a ride. At home I have lunch, then do the dishes. My mom works part-time and spends the morning hours at home. Usually, she goes to work at 2 pm. When my parents are at work I do the chores. I clean up the kitchen and my room, the living room if necessary, then I do the vacuuming in the hallway and feed the dog.

Then I just rest and do whatever I like. I go to the gym three times a week with my friends. So if it is a gym day, I go there. If it is not, I just watch TV or surf the Internet.

When my mom comes home, we cook together. While we are cooking, she might ask me about my day at school. My father returns from work a bit later. We have dinner together, then I do my homework. If I have enough time, I might watch a show, read a book or play a videogame. Sometimes we watch TV together. I am not a very outgoing person but once or twice a week I might go out with my friends. We love hanging out in the local part which is right next to the building where I live.

Normally, I do not stay up late, and go to bed at 10 or 11 o’clock in the evening. That is my daily routine.

I began working with computers about 3 years ago. Needless to say it was a shocking experience sitting in front of a picture tube and not knowing how it worked or where to begin. I began by hitting buttons and asking question at the same time.

The first computer that I bought was a new MSI with windows XP and a Cannon bubble jet. It was more troublesome to use and I was not computer literate and I had no ideal what I had but I had a computer in my home. I was asked prior to buying the computer what I wanted put on it my answer was whatever it comes with and I had no idea what to use so the guy put some programs on it and I took it home and was in business. I would do little things at first just to try and get a feel for this thing but it would amaze me or frustrate me. I had this thing and did not know what to do with it at times I felt like throwing it out the window. The more I tried reading the book the more I got confused and I had no patience with this technology. I looked through several different computer books and that did not help. So I finally gave up on computers and left them alone for several years.
After five years I found myself in the need of a computer because I had moved up in position and it required the use of a computer and everything was becoming electronic including the forms. I when out and brought a new up to date computer for that time. It came with all this fancy software and hardware. I was happy to have it but could only do so much work on it. I could do PowerPoint slides that was my biggie I would pull up a blank screen input what I wanted print it out and head for the next slide. But PowerPoint was not the only thing the bosses wanted they wanted Excel spreadsheet, graphs, memos, and all this other stuff that I had no ideal of doing.

Nowadays it is a large city with a big city center and suburbs. A lot of companies have their headquarters in Kushkupir. It is one of the biggest economic centers in Khorezm

Of course, each city has its advantages and disadvantages. Let’s start with the advantages. There are many ways of transportation in Kushkupir. You can travel by bus, by trolley, you can even take the underground. Also, Kushkupir has an advantageous geographical location because it is located between two major cities — Khiva and Urganch.

However, there are also some disadvantages. First of all, it is very dirty and noisy because of traffic jams. Second, it hasn’t got a lot of public areas, such as parks, where you can spend your time with friends. Third, life here is pretty expensive, and the prices of houses and apartments are quite high.

In conclusion, I would like to say that despite all the disadvantages I like my city because I was born there and have a lot of good memories of it

There was no doubt that computers would change the world when they first came

into existence. One of the major areas to be changed would be education, especially at

the college level. Computers provide students with numerous benefits. They allow

students to research classroom topics and can help improve classroom performance.

However, they have negatively affected education and will continue if there are further

advancements. It is important that education not lose the concept of personal touch

between the teacher and the student. Thus far, the advancements computer technology

have made in education have been beneficial for the most part; however, further

advancement could be detrimental.

It is very convenient for a student to be able to look up information on the

computer. No matter what field of study a student is involved in, they would be able to

use their computer as a source of information. One way of accessing this information is

through the multiple uses of the Internet. Search engines and online libraries are two

useful ways of gaining information. The amount of information a student can gather on

the computer is endless. For example, if a student needed to do research on dementia, the

computer would be a great source of information. By simply typing in the word dementia

into the search engine box, the student can find endless facts and information on

dementia. This is such an easier task compared to searching for hours through numerous

books.

For centuries people had been living without any great inventions. We can compare the everyday people's life of the 11th and the 13th centuries and we'll see it was very similar. But can we say the same about the 19th and the 21st centuries? Certainly, not. Nowadays science and technology are developing so fast that sometimes you can't «chase» the progress.

In the 30's the radio was one of the most popular means of spending your leisure time. Then television was invented and the radio became less popular. Today TV has changed a lot since its invention and it's still popular but it has a serious competitor. It is the Internet. I can’t say exactly what is more popular today – television or the Net. But in my opinion, TV will vanish in 10—20 years and the Internet or even something more modern will become the main source of information and entertainment.

6

There are tons of websites on the Internet nowadays, which offer a wide range of possibilities. As an advanced user I check out dozens of sites every day. For example, if I want to listen to music, I open online radio sites. When I want to watch a film or a cartoon, I open online cinema sites. When I want to chat with friends, I use instant messengers or social networks. Sometime I use skype to video call my distant pals or relatives.

However, my favourite website is YouTube, because I can watch or download any types of video there. I can also share my favourite videos with the rest of the world. Everybody knows that it is the most popular video site in the world.

Computer addicts are the minority of computer users but there is no doubt that more and more young people are computer literate. Computer studies is a subject in many schools and many young people have personal computers. About one in three hundred computer owners spend almost all their time using computers.

Ninety six per cent of them are males of all ages. All of them spend an average of twenty hours per week on home computers. The majority of the adults also use computers at work. All the computer addicts are very intelligent. They have been interested in science and technology from a very early age and they are usually very shy people who like being alone.

9 Computer addiction is defined as the persistent, compulsive use of a computer despite negative consequences. Those who suffer from computer addiction tend to prioritize computer use above all other daily activities and responsibilities. Computer addiction can lead to serious problems surrounding your career, relationships, and other life areas as a result of your spending an excessive amount of time on the computer and neglecting these important obligations.

Understanding how computer addiction works can help you determine whether you or a loved one is suffering from a real problem and needs professional treatment. Since many Americans use computers for hours at a time for reasons like work or school, not everyone who spends an excessive amount of time on the computer is necessarily suffering from addiction or at any risk. But knowing signs and symptoms of computer addiction can bring you closer to getting the help you need to improve areas of your life that may be neglected or suffering on behalf of addiction.
