• Name of Topic: Happy Birthday

• Time duration: 45 minutes
• Necessary Materials: Pupil’s book, handouts, blackboard, computer, speakers, copybook

• Objective: Teach pupils about “happy birthday” and develop pupil’s vocabulary with the words

related the theme

• Time: 10 minutes
• Model of interaction: individually
• Aim: to check their work how they would do their homework and fix their knowledge

related to the previous class

• Procedure: first of all, I will check out pupils’ notebooks whether they did their homework or not. And then I will ask orally new vocabulary which are related to the previous lesson

First stage. Asking the home task

Pre – lesson

Explanation:

• Time: 5 minutes
• Aim: to give proper information about the theme and make them understand the speech
• Procedure: I will write the name of topic on the blackboard and begin to give information about the theme “ Happy birthday”

Warming – up. Activity1

• Activity: Listen and sing song
• Time: 4 minutes
• Task: Listening
• Model of interaction: group work
• Aim: to encourage and motivate students before beginning the explanation the theme. To make them interested and get their attention to the them

While – lesson.

• Task: Word search
• Time: 4 minutes
• Model of interaction: pair work
• Aim: To attract pupils’ attention to the new vocabulary related to the theme
• Procedure: I will give the students worksheets. And students should search the words related to birthday.

• Aim: to mark student’s speaking skills
• Procedure: this activity is called let’s talk about birthday presents. Teacher asked pupils: what would you like to get for your birthday? Pupil should write seven sentence and say to teacher. Example: I would like to get a new laptop.

• Aim: to revise vocabulary related to birthday, introduce new words
• Procedure: teacher will give a worksheet paper . Pupil should make sentence according instructions

Post - lesson

• Aim: to develop students’ writing skills
• Procedure: pupils should write birthday party invitation.

Giving homework

• Time: 2 minutes
• Aim: to make them work extra-individually outside the class
• Procedure: I will say the students to find extra information related the theme.
