A.: Are you at all familiar with weightlifting?

A. : I’d like to know what you gain by it.

B. : Oh, it gives you a lot. It develops coordination, balance, control of muscles. Besides it speeds up the blood circulation.

A. : And does it affect one’s physique?

B. : It does make one broad shouldered and full-chested. It also makes your heart strong and lungs healthy.

A. : Are you a heavy-weight lifter?

B. : No, I am not. 1 am a light-heavy weight. What puts me out is that my standing snatch leaves much to be desired.

A. : But you are said to be very good at right-hand snatch.

B. : 1 guess, I am. It didn’t prevent Botir from beating me at the last contest, though.

A. : Don’t get upset. You will win your spurs all right. I am sure

B. : 1 wish you would come to the competition next Friday.

People all over the world are very fond of sports and games. That is one of the things in which people of every nationality and class are united.The most popular outdoor winter sports are shooting, hunting, hockey and, in the countries where the weather is frosty and there is much snow — skating, skiing and tobogganing. It's so nice to go to the skating-rink on a frosty sunny day. Some people prefer to be out of town in such weather and to sledge or to ski in the woods. Many people greatly enjoy figure-skating and ski-jumping.
