Lake scott car club scholarship

LAKE SCOTT CAR CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
The Lake Scott Car Club Scholarship is available to any Scott Community High School Senior who plans to attend any post-secondary school to pursue a career in any automotive field.

The amount of this scholarship is subject to change each year (up to $1000), as is the number of scholarships awarded.

This scholarship may be re-applied for while you are in completing your degree. You simply need to get an application from Mrs. Wilkinson and have it submitted by the deadline each year.
Should you be selected for a scholarship, the club would like for you to come back and talk to the club about your educational experience and what your plans are once you have earned your certificate or degree in the automotive industry.


To apply for this scholarship, please answer the following questions, and then submit a short essay to the club in which you address the following:

1. 
   The school you plan to attend.
   
2. 
   The type of degree you are planning to earn (certificate, associate’s degree, etc.).
   
3. 
   The field of study you have chosen (auto mechanics, auto body, or auto painting, etc.), and why.
   
4. 
   Any automotive projects you have been involved with in your spare time or at a job (ex. Have you worked on restoring a vehicle? Have you done any auto mechanics? Have you done any auto body painting? etc.).
   
5. 
   What are your future plans once you have completed your education?
