Greeting to all my students,

I am Professor Otaboev Urinboy and I wanted to write an email each of you in order to give some information about current situation. I have chosen an email as it is much more appropriate one and I hope everyone has an access to their emails. As a result of a suddenly emerged pandemic, the University has begun an online study it means that all assignments and classroom activities will be conducted through internet. I am going to answer the questions that you mostly concern about: firstly your home assignments, you will upload your home assignments as usual from canvas and additionally you should participate in weekly discussions as it considered while your attendance is checking. Second, lessons will be conducted via Zoom, you can easily upload this app from internet, please check regularly your university emails because I will inform the date of Zoom lessons by email. If you have problems with internet connections, please feel free to email me [e-mail] we will discuss this problem and find a solution. You must submit your home assignments on time on Canvas, note that late submission can affect to your score and all home assignments should be on doc file. If you have problems with your Canvas please contact with administration. Additionally, please note that internet connection problems cannot be a reason for not continuing your studies, so try to be online while lessons.

Finally, I want to express that I am considering offer the choice of being graded this semester on a “Pass or Fail” basis. You can have a chance to earn a “Pass” for the course by participating in simple discussion questions from previous chapters, even if you did not submit all assignments so far. But the disadvantage of “Pass or Fail” is, it is not counted as a final letter grade on your four-year transcripts. That was all which I want to inform you.
