The regular excursions pick up passengers in their accommodation and undertake the path to the Perito Moreno Glacier, which is located 80 kilometers from El Calafate. Estancia Cristina Wild Trekk

Includes:

A walk Estancia Cristina offered departing from the Port of Punta Bandera every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and is specially designed for those who love adventure. The day begins sailing Lake Argentino Herminita Peninsula, and then disembark and embark on a trek which allows access to the Patagonian Ice viewpoint, the main front of the Upsala Glacier and icebergs Great Barrier Upsala Channel. In this exciting cruise aboard 4x4 vehicles covered a distance of 35 km across the Co. Huyliche.

Departure from El Calafate in the morning to the port of Shadows Under where they take a boat that crosses the Brazo Rico. This experience starts at 9 AM from the Port "Under the Shadows". There you take the boat which crosses the Brazo Rico, ten minutes later, reach the west bank.

From there, the mountain guides will lead the group to a point near the glacier, where, after fitting the crampons, approach the journey begin.

The trail crosses the southern moraine of the glacier Perito Moreno and in just over an hour, visitors will find on a spectacular vantage point to gain access to the ice.

The Adventure demand 3 hours, during which time visitors will be amazed with each corner of the glacier, with the deep blue of the lagoons and the mystery that awaken the depth of the cracks.

It starts traversing ascending the northwest face of Cerro Frias, which is located 25 km from El Calafate.

It reaches a maximum height of 1030 meters and during the tour you can appreciate the flora and fauna of the area.

This tour is definitely one of the oldest and most popular alternatives to discover the beauties offered by the National Park Torres del Paine, and annually attracts many foreign tourists to the park, is considered a landmark of global relevance.
