  • A residential burglary occurred in the 5500 block of Alderbrook Court, Rockville on Friday, 5/10 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

  • No significant events occurred during this reporting period.

B1 Beat:


  • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the unit block of Great Pines Court, Rockville on Thursday, 5/9 at 8:10 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.




  • Graffiti was found at Hoover MS, 8810 Postoak Road, Potomac on Saturday, 5/11.


B2 Beat:


  • A residential burglary occurred in the 12900 block of Brushwood Terrace, North Potomac on Saturday, 5/11 at 5:30 p.m. Forced entry; unknown if anything was taken.




  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11300 block of Amberlea Farm Drive, North Potomac on Thursday, 5/9 at 4:57 p.m. No forced entry; nothing taken.


Arrested: Male, age 12, from North Potomac;

Arrested: Male, age 13, from North Potomac.
B3 Beat:


  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 18700 block of Jerusalem Church Road, Poolesville on Thursday, 5/9 at 4:59 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.


Arrested: Male, 49 yrs. old, from Poolesville.


  • A residential burglary occurred in the 19500 block of Wootton Avenue, Poolesville between Monday, 5/6 and Sunday, 5/12. No forced entry; property taken.

  • A commercial burglary occurred at 4302 East West Highway, Bethesda sometime over the weekend from Friday, 5/10 to Sunday, 5/12. Forced entry; nothing taken.




  • A residential burglary occurred in the 4200 block of East West Highway, Bethesda on Monday, 5/13 at approximately 5:15 p.m. No further details available at this time.



D3 Beat:


  • Two residential burglaries occurred on Tuesday, 5/14 in the 10800 block of Hobson Street, Kensington:




  • Between 7:40 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.




  • Between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.


D4 Beat:


  • A snatch & grab incident occurred in the 11300 block of Rockville Pike, Kensington on Friday, 5/10 at 10:00 p.m. The suspect forcefully removed property from the victim.

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 5100 block of Cape Cod Court, Bethesda on Monday, 5/13 at 2:45 p.m. Forced entry; unknown what was taken.



  • A residential burglary occurred in the 5100 block of Brookview Drive, Bethesda sometime between Monday, 5/6 and Thursday, 5/9. No forced entry; property taken.

G1 Beat:


  • An armed robbery occurred in the 8600 block of 16th Street, Silver Spring on Friday, 5/10 at 7:43 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.


Suspect: B/M, 5’9” & 180-190 lbs., white t-shirt, blue basketball shorts


  • An armed robbery occurred in the 800 block of Silver Spring Avenue, Silver Spring on Monday, 5/6 at 12:00 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M, 16 years, 5’5” & 110 lbs, thin, wearing a gray hoody, black pants.


  • A commercial burglary occurred at Rufus Spann, 817 Silver Spring Avenue, Silver Spring between 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 5/7 and 5:08 p.m. Wednesday, 5/8. Forced entry; property taken.




      • A residential burglary occurred in the 700 block of Sligo Avenue, Silver Spring on Sunday, 5/12 between 1:30 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. Unknown entry; property taken.

  • A shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Quebec Terrace, Silver Spring on Friday, 5/10 at 8:30 p.m. The suspects were known to the victim.




  • A residential burglary occurred between 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 5/10 and 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, 5/11 in the 8800 block of Plymouth Street, Silver Spring. Unknown entry; property taken.




  • A residential burglary occurred on Friday, 5/10 between 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the 8500 block of Manchester Road, Silver Spring. Forced entry; property taken.

  • An armed robbery occurred in the 14100 block of Aldora Circle, Burtonsville on Tuesday, 5/14 at 9:42 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.



Suspect: Unknown male, wearing a black mask.


  • An armed robbery occurred at McDonalds, 13800 Outlet Drive, Fairland on Saturday, 5/11 at 12:24 a.m. The suspects threatened the victims with a weapon and obtained property.



Suspects: B/M, 5’10”, 180lbs., blue jacket w/blue hoody;

B/M, 5’10”, 200 lbs., black jacket, black hoody, black pants.


    • A residential burglary occurred on Friday, 5/10 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Childress Terrace, Burtonsville. Forced entry; property taken.




    • A residential burglary occurred on Wednesday, 5/8 between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the 14300 block of Beaker Court, Burtonsville. No forced entry; property taken.

  • An armed robbery occurred on Tuesday, 5/7 at 10:50 p.m. The victim was on foot from the bus stop at Longmead Crossing Drive and Homecrest Road, Aspen Hill. The suspects threatened the victim with weapons and obtained property.


Suspects: Two black males, 17-21, both tall and with medium to heavy builds.


  • A residential burglary occurred in the 14000 block of Rippling Brook Drive, Silver Spring on Thursday, 5/9 between 6:40 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. No forced entry; property taken from the garage.


K2 Beat:


  • A sexual assault occurred in the area of Veirs Mill and Parkland Drive, Aspen Hill on Friday, 5/10 at 1:30 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.


L1 Beat:


  • An armed robbery occurred in the 1131 block of University Boulevard West, Silver Spring on Monday, 5/13 at 3:30 p.m. The suspects threatened the victims with weapons and obtained property.


Suspects: Three black males, early 20’s.
L2 Beat:


  • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Road, Silver Spring on Monday, 5/13 at 10:35 a.m. The suspect forcefully removed property from the victim.

Suspect: Hispanic male, 20-25, 5’11”, 200 lbs., light complexion, wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, and blue jeans.


  • A commercial burglary occurred at Radio Shack, 11147 Veirs Mill Road, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 5/14 at 8:54 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.




  • A residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Ladd Street, Silver Spring on Friday, 5/10 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

  • Vehicle-related thefts occurred in the 21500 block of Manor View Circle in Germantown on Monday, 5/6 around 4:00 a.m.

  • A strong-arm robbery occurred on the front steps of the Dunkin Donuts located at 12915 Wisteria Drive in Germantown on Friday, 5/10 around 8:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 13000 block of Well House Court in Germantown overnight between Tuesday, 5/7 and Wednesday, 5/8. Forced entry; property taken.




  • A residential burglary occurred in the 18400 block of Stone Hollow Drive in Germantown on Thursday, 5/9. No forced entry; property taken.




  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 14400 block of Autumn Crest Road in Boyds on Sunday, 5/12 between 10:10 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.


N3 Beat


  • A theft occurred at St Mary’s Church located at 18230 Barnesville Road in Barnesville between 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, 5/11 and 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, 5/12. Property was taken from outside the church.

  • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 1000 block of West Side Drive in Gaithersburg on Saturday, 5/11 between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.


R1 Beat:


  • No significant events occurred during this reporting period.


R2 Beat:


  • A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Crested Iris Court in Gaithersburg on Friday, 5/10 at 9:30 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
