Coatesville Area School District Middle Schools Uniform Dress Policy
Dear Parents of incoming Middle School students:
For the 2015-16 school term the uniform dress policy continues to be in effect. The uniform dress policy is mandatory and will be the same across the District for all students in grades 6-8. Students will be required to wear black or khaki bottoms and a red, white, or black collared shirt. Changes to last year’s requirements are in bold and underlined. The specifics of the expectations for uniform dress follow:
Uniform Bottom Wear

• Color Choices: Black or Tan Khaki bottoms (must be plain with no decoration or labels/logos) - black or tan denim is permitted. Athletic wear is not permitted.

• Boys may wear long pants or shorts.

• Girls may wear long pants, shorts, Capri pants, jumpers, skirts, skorts, or dresses

• Bottom wear should be appropriately sized, worn at the waistline and must be the appropriate length.
Uniform Shirts

• Color Choices: Red, White, Black- no other colors are acceptable

• Shirts must have a collar (polo style)

• Shirts should be appropriately sized for neat appearance and neatly tucked.

• 
  Collared shirts with a Coatesville Area School District, school, and/or school sponsored activity or sport logo is acceptable.
  

Other Shirts

• Sweatshirts, Cardigans, and Sweaters must be red, white, or black.

Shoes

• 
  No changes have been made to the shoe policy
  

Leggings/Jeggings

• 
  Leggings (black only) may be worn under skirts/skorts, dresses, jumpers, and shorts
  
• 
  Leggings may not be worn alone
  
• 
  Yoga pants are prohibited

Pantalones/Faldas del Uniforme
