The Pleasant Hope Lady Pirate Softball Classic will be held on Friday, September 26th and Saturday, Sept. 27th, 2014. All games will be played on the main field located next to Pleasant Hope Middle School . The tournament will be set up in a pool play format. The 3rd place team from each pool will compete in the consolation game. The 2nd place team from each pool will play the 1st place team from the other pool in a semi-final game. The losing team of each semi-final game will then play for 3rd place with the winners competing in the championship game. Each team will play a minimum of 3 games. All games will have a 1 hour and 15 minute time limit with no new inning starting after 1 hour and 10 minutes. There will be an 11 run rule after 3 innings and an 8 run rule after 5 innings in effect for all games. International Run Rules will be in effect after time expires and/or beginning in the 8th inning. The Championship game will be played in its entirety with no time limit.

Pool Play places will be determined by the following:

1. Best Record 2. Head to Head 3. Least Runs Allowed 4. Most Runs Scored 5. Coin Flip

There will be no infield practice prior to any games( fly balls/ground balls only).

Please take into consideration teams playing back to back and allow for extra time if needed. Water jugs and cups will be provided on the team benches during games.

Teams should provide two softballs at the start of each game

Admission Prices: $3.00 Adults $2.00 Students Concessions will be available on site during the entire tournament.
