HOW TO PREPARE AND GIVE PRESENTATION
Nowadays making presentation is an important component of any teacher’s professional competence.
In the frame of SS students will be trained how to prepare and give presentation on the TFL matters. Each student for the academic year must not less than 2 PPT. Some methodical recommendations due to making PPT are introduced in the IT IS INTERESTING TO KNOW! part of this Unit.
Each PPT should contain not less than 7 or more than 15 slides. PPT structure

PPT ASSESSMENT CRITERIA – 100%
Topic covering - 75%
64 –75 % - information reflects key, logical ideas
53 – 63% - information reflects not all key, logical ideas
41- 52% - information reflects few but not logical ideas
0 – 41% - information doesn’t reflect key, logical ideas
Language accuracy 10%
9 - 10% – not more than one grammar, vocabulary and stylistic mistake which can’t influence on understanding
7 - 8% – not more than 2-3 grammar, vocabulary and stylistic mistakes which can’t influence on understanding
5,5 - 6% - not more than 4-5 grammar, vocabulary and stylistic mistakes which may influence on understanding
0-5% more than 5-6 grammar, vocabulary and stylistic mistakes which influence on understanding
SPEECH SKILLS 10%
Fluency - 2,5 (logical, non stop speaking)
Sounding – 2,5 (clear pronunciation of the sounds and words)
Intonation, stress – 2,5 (logical intonation and stress)
Emotions– 2,5 – (positive and confident)
Design 5%
4,5 –5 - attractive and specially designed slides
3-4,4 - ordinary but specially designed slides
2,5- 2,9 - ordinary slides
