Topicality of the research 

is defined by the followings: 1) it is done in the framework of 

Comparative  literature;  2)  by  the  absence  of  comparative  researches  of  English,  Russian  and 

Uzbek  short  stories  which  were  written  in  different  historical  period;  3)  by  the  absence  of 

researches devoted to  the investigation of comparative analysis of English, Russian and  Uzbek 

short story writers.
