Development of pedagogical movement in Azerbaijan in the early twentieth century

This article describes the development in Azerbaijan pedagogical movement in the early twentieth century, and contains information about that in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth- century social and political situation in Russia led to the revival and renaissance in Azerbaijan. Based on a democratic basis by national educators (A.Bakihanov, G.Zardabi, MFAkhundov, MTSidgi, etc.) of the national pedagogical thought has entered a new era of development. Formed a new generation of teachers (F.Kocherli, P.Afandi, N.Narimanov, N.Vazirov, S.M.Ganizade, M.Mahmudbekov, etc.) with new ideas, new thoughts, new outlooks. They were graduates of Gori Teachers' Seminary. The creation of new schools, teaching of the mother tongue, the creation of the national curriculum and children's literature, women's rights and freedoms, the moral development of the nation has been the foundation of their activity. During the years of Soviet power in Azerbaijan democratic educators were divided into two fronts, advocates of "Molla Nasreddin" and members of "Fuzuat" and did not correctly interpret their idea and concept of the development of a people, a nation's progress. Trends of Russia in the past, given the different presented in a distorted way. Nevertheless, on the basis of their activities A.I.Gertsen said that we are not the same, we have different love. Published in the early twentieth century, the "East- Russia" (1903-1906 ), "Life" (1905-1906), "Irshad" (1905-1908), "Evolution" (1906-1907), "New Life" (1907-1908), "Progress" (1908-1909), "Seda" (1909-1911), "Iqbal" (1912-1915) , "The frank word" (1915-1918) , the "Guide" (1906), "Molla Nasreddin" ( 1906-1931 ), "Dabistan" ( 1906-1908 ), "Fyuzat" (1906-1908) , "New fyuzat" ( 1911), "School" (1917), "The Light " (1912 ), "Vitality" ( 1912-1916 ) national newspapers and magazines are at the forefront of the fight Enlightenment for the democratization of education, provide a new level of pedagogical movement and a new direction.
