INTRODUCTION (Abstract of PhD Thesis)
The aim of the study 
is to develop scientific and methodological approaches 
and practical recommendations for developing the innovative infrastructure of agro­
industrial production in the context of economic modernization.
The subject of the research 
is economic relations associated with increasing 
the competitiveness and prospects of agricultural sectors based on the development of 
an innovative infrastructure of agro-industrial production.
Scientific and practical significance of the research results. 
The scientific 
significance of the research results is explained by the fact that they are used in the 
development of innovative infrastructure in agro-industrial production, in the study of 
systemic economic methods, in the improvement of scientific and methodological 
approaches. Taking into account the strengthening of the competitiveness of agro­
industrial production, its innovative infrastructure is determined by the formation of 
strategic development and the development of methods for improving mechanisms 
and evaluating their effectiveness.
The practical significance of the results of the research is explained by the 
analyzes and recommendations obtained that will assist to develop targeted programs, 
develop innovative infrastructure, specialize agro-industrial and agricultural sectors 
in Samarkand region, as well as training programs and manuals on such subjects as 
"agricultural economy", "innovative economy", can be used in training and 
improvement of special courses.
