Таким образом, цифровизация образования, представляющая собой 
естественный процесс современного развития человечества, обладает не 
только достоинствами и преимуществами, но она также характеризуется

Abstract 
This paper aims to present some of the main findings of the “HiEdTec: 
Modernization of higher education in Central Asia through new technologies” 
Erasmus+KA2 project funded by Erasmus+ at the Andijan machine-building 
institute. The activities aimed, primarily, to implement digitalization of teaching 
systems and methods in Uzbekistan and give the opportunity for EVERYBODY to 
learn at ANY time and at ANY place with the help of ANY lecturer, using ANY 
device.
Introduction 
The project helps turn the Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) into 
innovative universities and to improve the quality of the trained specialists who are 
necessary to perform the Digital Transformation of Industries (Industry 4.0). 
HiEdTec project aims to develop Concepts of adapting the educational system to the 
digital generation with regard to the specific conditions of the Universities and to 
establish the Innovative Educational Technologies Centre, Active and Virtual 
learning classrooms, Cloud-based Virtual Libraries. The Concepts are a response to 
the Digital Transformation of Education. The emphasis will be on the development 
of blended learning. Innovative Educational Technologies Centre, Active and 
Virtual learning classrooms, Cloud-based Virtual Libraries helps to implement the 
activities of the project at the HEIs through new technologies.
