Methodical instructions on teaching a subject.

The main goals and objectives of teaching the subject of forensic toxicology are to teach students that in their lives a person can be exposed to various chronic and acute poisonings, exposure to many toxins, in some cases they can cause poisoning. To identify changes and cases of poisoning, to teach measures to prevent poisoning.

The following requirements are set for the knowledge, skills and abilities of students in the field of forensic toxicology.

Student:
-should have an idea of the substances that can cause poisoning, severe pathological changes and cases of poisoning, the assessment and explanation of the possibility of poisoning in terms of toxicology and toxicological chemistry ;

-to be able to extract toxic substances and their metabolites in biological substances, to develop methods for determining the authenticity and quantity of extracted substances, to have specialized knowledge for the necessary documents, to know and use the processes of toxicological chemical changes.

-to carry out complete and incomplete forensic chemical analysis on physical evidence consisting of biological objects, to use modern rapid analysis methods to determine the causes of poisoning in cases of acute poisoning and to provide emergency medical care, and in problematic situations must be able to find the right solution.
