Which continent is the largest?

The topic of my lesson is “ Which continent is the largest? ”. Throughout the lesson I use worksheets, colorful pens, maps, handouts, computer and projector which is accessed to the internet so as to show a video from YouTube related to the theme. This materials help students to get full information on continents in English and to understand the aim of the theme.

In my lesson I focus especially on speaking as well as a bit reading. That’s why I use the text on the book, maps without names, with only a picture, so that students try to think and they share minds with their partners. Quizes and giving questions per student improve learners’ speaking ability. Additionally, the video help learners visually and it will be easy to remember information. I think, my lesson plan helps both teachers and learners. Students will obtain something useful. I continue working on myself in order to eliminate my mistakes.
