What makes the students feel good? Research has shown that teacher and parents support, spending time with friends, and physical activity all increase the likelihood that a student will be satisfied with life. On the other hand, fear of reviews and spending too much time online are predictors of feelings of dissatisfaction.
This essay analyses some information from "Examining the factors contributing to students' life satisfaction" by Uğur Doğan and Eyüp Çelik determining which groups of students expressed the greatest levels of satisfaction. Every student is different. Every person who walks into your classroom every day has a story of their own. Research also confirms this, satisfied education is not an emphasis on mental health in place of academic achievement, but rather on mental health in order to create the conditions and enable students to achieve academic excellence. Moreover, offering emotional support early in the school year can lead to improved learning later in the school years.
When over billion students from various educational places were surveyed to find out their views on various aspects of their university. One of these questions was to identify which aspects of university life they were most and least satisfied with. The categories can be broadly divided into class factors, human factors, extracurricular activities and financial support. The present study makes a valuable contribution to the research literature on student’s well-being. Substantial differences in a wide variety of academic outcomes underscore the importance of life satisfaction in facilitating many aspects of academic success. Particularly noteworthy is the consistent difference between students with average life satisfaction and students with very high life satisfaction. These results complement the available literature by showing not only that life satisfaction contributes to academic success, but also that very high life satisfaction is more optimal than just average.
However, people are not satisfied with the academic qualification level, but with what they do with it. Well, most of us think the higher the level of education, the more it is about higher paying jobs, recognition, and sometimes even professionally successful partners. Intelligence and qualifications do not necessarily mean a higher salary, for example a journalist or a lawyer. In addition to education, there are balancing factors such as financial security, family and relationships, emotional security, etc. Furthermore, people in creative fields such as musicians, actors, etc. do not necessarily have or should not have. a very high level of education. A good job, a good relationship, and a great community of friends are some of the factors that make life happier.
In summary, student satisfaction can be measured in different ways. This depends a lot on how you define satisfaction, as very few people perceive education as a thirst or a search for knowledge. The rest is focused on their careers and material gains. However, I do agree that higher education opens the door to knowledge and can also provide meaning in life. There can be maturity to distinguish between good and bad.
Last but not least, education plays a very important role in everyone's life as it helps to increase a person's self-esteem, which in turn creates confidence and affects all aspects of a person's life including happiness and how he / she is looking at things that are very important for growth.
