Introduction
Social media is a series of websites and apps that allow people to share content quickly, efficiently and in real time. Most people today identify social media as apps on their smartphones or tablets, but the truth is that this means of communication started with a computer. These misconceptions stem from the fact that most social media users access their tools through apps. In fact, 50 percent of online users never engage in social media.
Just as the ability to share photos, opinions, events, and more in real time has changed our lives, so it has changed our business. Retail companies that engage social media as part of their marketing strategy have achieved great results. But the key to success with social media is to treat all your marketing with the same care, respect, and attention.
In the early days of social marketing, there was little competition for the dollar. There are tons today. For example, you can’t get your investment back by spending thousands of dollars on a Facebook advertising campaign. Like competing for a vacancy in a newspaper a few years ago, you can’t compete for your eyes on social media. And social media, by its very nature, is a “short-term focus” media because it’s 10 times harder to get attention than an ad in a newspaper. Advertising headlines and copies are harder than posting on Twitter or Instagram.
For retailers, a lot of case studies, including social media, are about very large organizations that have a very large budget or food truck, or tell their customers how to open a street corner . For most retailers, social media is a virtual and literal black hole .
One of the biggest mistakes sellers make is opening an account on any social media platform to which they belong and then leaving no activity.
Accounting with social media doesn’t turn you into “social media” because golf clubs prepare you for the PGA type. in fact, social media users are deleted by the retailer who opened the account and do not work at the same time and are therefore labeled as a claimant. In fact, if you don’t want to be actively involved, it’s better if your website doesn’t have a social media icon.
Another big mistake is to use social media to talk about what is important to customers, not what is important to them. As a retailer, you may think it’s great to try to keep trading. In some cases, this is true. But if that’s the reason you’re doing social media, it won’t do anything for you.
Your goal should be to provide content that is relevant to your customer and get them to the point where they want to share your message with others. If you’re into social media, engage your client. Get them involved in the conversation. Ask for their opinions. Post a picture of the two things you want to carry in the store and ask your favorite customers. It creates dialogue and conversation, which leads to shared posts that lead to seekers working with partners.
Also, along with the example we’ve given together, it leads to a more extended margin because it can prevent you from buying this product.
Another aspect of understanding R is that the most common content on social media includes the image. So always add a picture with your post. It significantly increases the chances of someone sharing with their network. While it’s great to build a wide network of followers, it’s ultimately for your followers, but not too much - to share what you’re sharing with your network. It’s a new form of “word of mouth” and still the same - FREE!
Imagine that a message or tweet you read there can be read, but when it is sent by someone who shared it or received it, or loved it, now that person has approval .
What is Social Media?
Today , social media such as Facebook , Twitter , Instagram , Snapchat and other sites and apps to try to talk about what they wrote ' s will .
If we use the term to describe a site like Facebook, as well as a site like Digg , as well as a site like Wikipedia , and even a site like Cheezburger , it simply starts all over again. What is a social network?
The term is used in a very vague way and can basically be used to describe almost any website on the internet today. Or maybe not. Some people have a limited opinion about social networks, often equating them to being the same as social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Other people don’t think Blogs fall under the social media category.
So what is social media?
Perhaps instead of defining the term using serious jargon, perhaps it can make things more complicated, perhaps the best way to better understand it is to turn it into more simplified terms. To get started, let’s look at each word separately.
