Then, guests are invited into the house, put on a most honorable place at the table or in Uzbek dastarkhan. According to ancient custom, men and women should sit at different tables, but it is fully preserved only in rural areas. Head of the family itself seats guests, and for the most respected places diverted away from the entrance.

Each meal begins and ends with tea drinking. Initially, the table serving sweets, cakes, dried fruits and nuts, fruits and vegetables, followed by snacks, and only at the end - a mandatory pilaf or other festive dish.

NATIONAL CLOTHES

The Uzbek national clothes of the end of XX centuries remain constant up these days. The men in that time carried a direct cover shirts, bottom and top dressing gowns. The dressing gowns were very light and made from cotton wool. There were cuts on each side of dressing gown for convenience at walking. The trousers were made wide, of direct breed lent from top to bottom. Female clothes: dressing gowns, dress, "parandja"- also of wide breed.
