Well, if a teacher follower of a Piaget’s theory, she/he tries to teach pupils with different things like handouts, stickers, pictures or snowballs. Teacher uses these things so that pupils can consolidate a new theme better. Then pupils can play games divided into two or more groups. Teacher explains how to do that activities then she/he may control the situation while pupils are doing that. Finally, at the end of the lesson pupils are marked according to their participation. What classroom look like? Chairs may be put like a shape circle and so on. It’s up to the game or activity which are done.

In Vygotskyan theory, teacher ask questions from pupils in order to know that whether they could learn something or not. Teacher may ask one by one or asking pupils to stand at the blackboard or into groups.

I think, the most basic differences between these two theories are that in Piaget’s theory movement is important while in Vygotsky’s isn’t.
