The West Gate Tunnel Project will make it easier and safer for walkers and cyclists to get around Melbourne.
More than 14 kilometres of new and improved paths will provide more transport choices for work and recreation.
A completed and upgraded Federation trail will mean people can travel from Werribee to the city on a continuous separated path.
We're also improving access for pedestrians and cyclists using Kororoit Road Creek Trail.
New paths will connect communities either side of the West Gate Freeway and a new path along Hyde Street. And bridge over Whitehall Street next to Yarraville Gardens will take cyclists and pedestrians off a busy road.
A new veloway along the elevated Footscray Road will provide an express journey for cyclists while pedestrians can continue to use existing paths.
