The Uzbek side considers multilateral mutually beneficial trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation as a means of cooperation in the field of development.

Today, we believe that the SCO has firmly established itself as a full-fledged and influential international organization.

The most important aspects that determine the growing international reputation and attractiveness of the SCO are as follows:

First, based on its basic principles, the SCO declares itself as a reliable guarantor of maintaining stability and security in the region, which is such a rapid development in the world. in the current stage of changing and turbulent situation, the most urgent importance is not lost.

Secondly, the relevance of the tasks set and being solved for the organization of multifaceted effective cooperation in the socio-political, socio-economic and humanitarian spheres is necessary for the implementation of large projects that are important for each member country. forms the base.

Thirdly, the SCO is an equal association of member states, which clearly demonstrates that its activities are not directed against the interests of other countries and do not have the nature of block opposition.

The initiatives to implement a number of initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev within the framework of the SCO aimed at increasing the efficiency of cooperation in political, trade-economic, transport, logistics, innovation and other areas (SCO summits of Astana, Sindao and Bishkek in 2017-2019) are separate. is important. Among them:

● By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 26, 2018 No. PQ-3807, the SCO International Diplomacy Center was established in Tashkent;

● "Silk Road" international tourism university was established in Samarkand by the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 28, 2018 PQ-3815;

● In 2019-2020, a practical action plan ("Roadmap") on cooperation between scientific research institutions of the SCO member states was adopted;

● The concept of cooperation of SCO member states in the field of digitization and information and communication technologies was adopted.

On September 26, 2019, the first Information Technologies and Innovative Development Forum was held in Tashkent.
