Introduction. 
The metallurgical industry of Uzbek-
istan is one of the important export-oriented directions 
and a source of foreign exchange earnings in the Repub-
lic. Over the 70-year existence, the industry has under-
gone dramatic changes, both in the organization of new 
and in the reconstruction and re-equipment of existing 
industries. At the heart of these changes, the main factor 
is the priority directions for the development of the 
Republic for 2017-2021, put forward by the President 
of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.Mirziyoyev. First of all, 
for the metallurgical industry this is due to the problem 
of complex processing of the republic's mineral resources, 
the introduction of science-intensive technologies that 
ensure high profitability of production due to resource 
and energy conservation and environmental safety. Dur-
ing the work on this technology, significant waste has 
accumulated, which is an environmental hazard [1]. 
Such an organization of molybdenum production 
does not meet modern requirements. To improve the 
production efficiency of JSC "AMMC" it was proposed 
to optimize the molybdenum production by relocating 
the workshop from the city of Chirchik. 
Chemical analyzes of samples of the sludge field of 
the Research and Production Association "Rare Metals 
and Hard Alloys" have been carried out. The analysis 
results are shown in the table 1.
