Planning skills
Planning skills are practical, everyday abilities that make it easier to handle workloads, accomplish tasks and collaborate with others. There are various examples of planning abilities, including critical thinking, attention to detail and communication. Learning how to improve our planning abilities can enhance your productivity in the workplace and allow you to support others to meet deadlines and achieve their goals.
Communication is valuable for many aspects of a role, including planning. For instance, effectively listening and providing information to managers and colleagues can make planning larger tasks and projects more manageable. Additionally, communicating what each person's responsibilities are and understanding your own tasks can help track the success of a project over time.
Planning skills are abilities that directly contribute to our productivity, accuracy and effectiveness in the workplace. For example, I might use planning abilities to decide when to do each task in a project based on my workload and deadlines.
Time management skills
Time management is the ability to use time productively and efficiently. also think of it as the art of having time to do everything that that need, without feeling stressed about it. It sounds simple, but it is much harder in practice.
Time management skills are essential because few, if any, of us ever have enough time to do everything that is asked of us, or that we want to do. Time management is defined as using the time productively and efficiently—but what about working as productively as possible, it may be better to think about time management as a combination of working productively and prioritising the time. In other words, people who are good at time management are good at getting on and doing things. They are also, however, better at prioritising, and working out what really needs doing—and then discarding the other things.
It cannot just be that some people have less to do. It’s much more likely that they are using their time more effectively: in other words, showing good time management skills.
It is difficult to manage time properly, if we are only doing these things alone, but one good thing is that if we identify the tools in such collective work and define them, it will lead to saving time.
