Course Goals: By the end of this course students should be able to understand:

  • The body of the child interacting with the external environment; the impact of the environment on the child's body and the possibility of prevention or elimination of their internal action.

  • hygienic principles of planning, construction and operation of child institutions, such as kindergartens, schools, dormitories, etc., setting hygienic norms for land, building, lighting, water etc.

  • Hygienic requirements - sanitary furniture and equipment of these institutions

  • Mental work hygiene that forms the basis of the educational process, hygiene learning for specific subjects, the construction of a daily routine, workload to prevent mental and physical fatigue.

  • Food hygiene of children, irrespective of age, health status and level of child development.

  • Extracurricular work organization on hygenic based on hygiene, related to toys, sporting events, artistic educational circles, excursions etc

  • Acute infections in children; ways of spreading; processing defensive capacity; the anti-epidemic prophylactic measures.

  • Hygiene education to children, to eliminate those negative habits that can be carried by family or friends and education with positive hygienic habits.

  • Being able to provide first aid in case of fainting, suffocation, injury by electrocution, burning, freezing, food poisoning, hemorrhage and different trauma.
